Sylvester Dickson The whole concept of "Basel" surrounds the operations of Banks, and the way they report/reflect items on their balance sheet. Can someone please explain why the committee is pushing for their recommendations to be applicable to all types of institutions within the financial sector? Is the committee considering establishing other applications which can used by other players in the financial sector such as Credit Unions?
